Please note that on our early morning and late night surgery's due to arrangements with the Primary care trust our telephone lines are forwarded to Out of Hours as normal.

Repeat Prescriptions
  • 48 hours notice is required for repeat prescriptions
  • Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made by person at reception.

  • Telephone requests are for the housebound and out of area only
 Please think before you re order ...
There is so much waste and remember if anything is taken back to the Pharmacy it has to be destroyed and cannot be reused.

Test Results
  • Patient are requestd to telephone the surgery for results after 2pm.
  • Blood results take about a week.
  • X-rays can take up to three weeks.

Home visits
  • Please try to attend the surgery if at all possible. If you are too ill to come to the surgery please telephone before 10.30 am.

Dealing with an Emergency

An emergency is a critical or life threatening situation.
Examples:
  • Unconsciousness
  • Heavy Blood Loss
  • Suspected Broken Bones
  • Suspected Heart Attack
  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Stab Wound

Patient Responsibilities
  • All patients are responsible for keeping their appointments and updating the practice if they change their name address or telephone number.

Violent patients
  • Practice staff will not tolerate patients that are violent or abusive to any staff member or persons on the practice premises. Such patients will be removed from the practice list.

Complaints or comments
  • If you wish to make a complaint about the service received at our surgery, please write or make an appointment to see Mrs Jane Potter the practice manager.

Access to patient information
  • All NHS staff has a legal duty to maintain information pertaining to patients confidentiality.  Your medical history is/will be recorded onto the practice computer system, these records are accessed by authorised users only.
